Can the internet make the world a better place?

The theme we are discussing on this paper is if the internet can make the world a better place, in all the ways, society, economic, environment, etc.

First of all I think that the social media began having a lot of good applications to doing the world a really connected place, and share with all the planet your ideas and things, but nowadays, it is a weapon for discrimination, politics and more world problems.

In the second place we know all the progress that the technology is making on industry, and that supose that all the people who work in industry, are could be dismissed because one machine or robot can do the work of a group of workers.

To sum up, I think that Internet and technology are good for the improvement of society, but they should have a few limits.
